报告人：Henryk Giemza
报告人简介：Henryk Giemza leads the grid computing team at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (Otwock, Poland). Creator of the first Polish WLCG Tier-1 site supporting the LHCb and CMS experiments. Member of the LHCb research group at CERN, serving as the Tier-2 coordinator and Grid Expert on Call (GEOC). Member of the WLCG Management Board. Participant in numerous national and international projects (including PraceLab2, KMD3, KMD4EOSC, XFEL – Communication Channel)." His engineering and research interests include grid services and computer resource sharing for high-energy physics, data storage, computing infrastructure, and automation processes for resource sharing in HPC environments.
报告简介：
This lecture will present the Polish WLCG Tier-1 centre NCBJ-CIS, covering its local hardware resources and the technologies implemented for sharing computing resources (ARC CE and Slurm) as well as disk and tape storage (dCache). It will also discuss the role of Tier-1 and Tier-2 centres in the computing and data-processing model of the LHCb experiment at CERN.
