题目:Magnetar Powered Electromagnetic Counterparts of Gravitational Wave

摘要:The successful joint observation of the gravitational wave event GW170817 and its multiwavelength electromagnetic counterparts enabled us to witness a definite merger event of two neutron stars for the first time.  The electromagnetic counterparts provide invaluable information on the physics of the merger process. The merger of a neutron star  binary may result in the formation of a rapidly spinning magnetar. Prolonged energy injection from a magnetar remnant will produce some potential EM counterparts at different times and at different frequencies. In this talk, I will introduce the properties of EM counterparts driven by magnetar. In addition, I will introduce how to constrain the long-lived remnants of neutron star binary mergers from late-time radio observations of short duration gamma-ray bursts.

个人简历:2013-2019年于南京大学攻读博士学位,并获得2018年度博士研究生国家奖学金、南京大学2018年度优秀研究生、优秀毕业生(2019)等荣誉。博士期间主要从事超亮超新星(SLSNe)能源机制,伽玛暴(GRBs)、快速射电暴(FRBs)以及磁星驱动的暂现源,引力波源及其电磁对应体等方面的研究,在天体物理学杂志ApJ、A&A及MNRAS上发表相关研究论文20余篇。目前受国家博士后项目创新人才项目(2019年)与博士后面上项目(第66批)支持,于北京师范大学天文系从事博士后(励耘 postdoctral fellow 2019)研究。
